Arrival Story:
This is a cross post Maya is a beautiful, super sweet girl!! She is extremely loving and affectionate and very gentle. Her coat is a beautiful brindle and resembles the striping of a tiger - and a bonus is she loves baths. Maya is housetrained as well and does well sleeping in a crate when needed. Maya interacted well with other dogs at the shelter, is great with all people and is good with small children as well. She has a good energy level, but is not hyper. She could use a little "brush up" on leash skills as she does pull just a bit, but we are working on that. We estimate her age at approximately 4-5 years. Maya was turned into the shelter because her owner was deploying and the animal control officer just fell in love with her, thus her journey into rescue.
