 Quick Bio:
 Gotcha Date: August 14th 2004
 Birthday: June 2nd 1998
Likes: Oscar LOVES barking at the window, at the fence, at the door... he's true to his breeding and is the most vocal watchdog you would want (or not want!)

Pet-Peeves: Oscar doesn't enjoy new dogs getting in his space. He wants to make the first move. The cats also bother him just by sharing the same home.

Favorite Toy: Oscar LOVES squeaky toys. Too bad the squeaky toys don't love those fangs of his. They don't last too long (only minutes in fact).

Favorite Food: Oscar loves Eagle Pack Holistic Selects (Duck & Oatmeal) and just about anything else I'm apt to give him if he has his way. He's such a mooch!

Favorite Walk: He squeals with delight when I pick up his harness/leash and we're going for a walk in our neighbourhood!

Best Tricks: Oscar came trained; he does a cute little begging dance on his hind legs. He can also roll over.

Arrival Story: Following my separation from my ex in 2004, Duncan lived with him and Delta came with me. Delta did not do well in the first month of our new home. She didn't eat as much and quickly dropped some weight. Sensing that she required additional companionship while I was at work, I decided to put the feelers out for a smaller dog. A co-worker was called about Oscar, which fell through for her but worked out just right for us! Oscar and Delta hit it off right away, and they're the best of friends. (update: as of Oct 2006, Duncan is back to living permanently with us!)

Bio: Oscar was born June 2, 1998. He became a part of my family on August 14, 2004 at 6 years of age. I experimented with growing out his hair, then decided in January 2005 that it wasn't the ideal look for him, so off it all came! I'll keep him clipped short from now on. He is just a joy and fits in so well with us!
Oscar passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 after a short battle with a liver tumor. I miss him terribly.
