Arrival Story:
Oscar was adopted from an animal shelter by my daughter for my grandson. When I moved to Texas they asked if I could take Oscar with me since he was bonded with Tiffany, who was going with us to Texas. At first Oscar was pretty neurotic, but he gradually settled down and now he's "almost normal" 8-)

Oscar is the smartest dog I've ever had. He learns very quickly and is very eager to please. He was certified with both me and my grandson as a therapy dog with Love on a Leash. He's also great at agility, but we've never competed because I am disabled and I can't keep with him - so we just did it for fun. He picks things up for me, just like my service dogs do, but Tiffany is more prey driven and almost always gets to a dropped item before Oscar does. That's why she's my service dog instead of Oscar. He's my "back up service dog", if anything ever happens to Tiffany, cuz he's smart and motivated. He's also very affectionate, and loves to be petted by anyone who comes to visit us, which makes him a great theapy dog.
