Arrival Story:
My dog of 12 yrs died in Nov 2010. After a few months I felt like I was missing something in my life. I started looking for rescue dogs online in Jan 2011 and got Tucker in late Feb. He wasn't on death row, but he was looking for a forever home. He had been in kennels for a few weeks and was full of energy the day we brought him home, but slept like a baby that night and hasn't looked back. He has melded with our family incredibly and is a completely different dog after only 4wks.

As I sit here writing, Tucker looks longingly out the front door waiting for some action. He has already been for an hours walk today, but he could go all day if I could only keep up with him. I am thinking of teaching him to run alongside my bike as I just can't walk fast enough. The good thing is...he knows how to chill out and relax. So he's not all nervous energy. I better go out and stack some firewood now, I'll have to find a job for Mr Tucker as well.
