Well, the only thing she's had so far is her Purina ProPlan and some peanut butter cookies (the dog variety). She's not picky, for sure.

Favorite Walk:
The fact that she can without being on a chain! We'll check out the woods and the lake when she gets better acclimated. This is all very new for her still.

Best Tricks:
Dessa can sit. So far. We're going to sign up for an obedience class soon!

Arrival Story:
A friend of mine e-mailed about a black lab who was looking for a home and I called to see how badly she needed a home. Pretty badly, it turned out. Her owners had to move and had to keep her chained to keep her from running into the road. She'd been gaining weight (she's a little porky!) and so yesterday, on Valentine's Day, I drove *way the heck* out there to pick her up. She rode home in the passenger seat with her head on my lap. "Odessa" is Greek for odyssey or long journey and it fits her personality. She's very active right now, but has calmed down some. She's smart and eager to please.
