Arrival Story: I saw her in a cage with other dogs when she was just 4 months old and we locked eyes and that was it!!! It was love at first sight for both of us. I took her home immediately and we have been attatched at the hip since. Her adopted brother Zeus came into our lives 2 years later to help Scarlett with her separation anxiety and now we are all inseprable. Unfortunately, Scarlett is a perfect example of what happens to puppies physically and mentally when they come from a puppy mill. She suffers several genetic diseases and still has memories of the trauma she suffered as a puppy. I am so grateful that I was able to rescue her from that horrible life so that she would have a chance to live a realatively normal and happy life.
