Arrival Story:
Lily's owner passed away and she ended up in a high kill shelter with her companion dog. Unfortunately, the rescue did not have the room to take Lily or her companion dog, but they decided to take her anyway, forcing them to make the heartbreaking decision to leave her companion dog behind. The rescue later returned to the shelter, but it was too late, Lily's companion dog was gone. We wanted to adopt a dog in Starr's honor and memory and we decided to adopt Lily.
