Arrival Story:
I found Zelda wandering on an old road near my dad's lakehouse. I had just thought to myself if I ever find a dog that was limping I couldn't resist and I'd have to pull over. Well next thing I knew I saw Zelda limping across the road in front of me. She was limping kinda because she is missing her back right leg. I gave her some treats and she crawled right into my lap, saying "save me please, don't leave me here alone". So I scooped her up, all wet, matted and shivering and drove to the lakehouse with her in my lap. My 3 other dogs and I spent a night at the lakehouse getting to know eachother. She and I had an instant bond. Like nothing I've ever had before. We attempted to look for her owners but to no avail. So I decided she was just going to stay with our pack for good. She was fixed and her leg was removed by a vet, so someone else loved her at one point. I am sad that another family lost their dog but now she won't ever have to worry about being lost again! She's home for good!
