Arrival Story:
We both wanted a dog for a while and happened to be visiting my husband’s grandmother. His cousin lives next door and was always getting new dogs. She told us about a brother and sister that she just got. She knew she wanted to keep the girl, but didn’t know if she wanted the boy since he was pretty hyper. She said if we wanted him, we could have him. We checked with out landlord, then went to see the dog. They had named him Junior. When she left him out of the kennel, he came running up to my husband. It was love at first sight. We took him home that day, changed his name to Max, and he has been our furry dog-child ever since!
Bio:
Max is blind in his right eye. The vet says he was most likely born that way and that he has adapted to not being able to see. It doesn't slow him down, but he does tend to run into corners when he is moving to fast :)
