Arrival Story:
We got Jake a year ago from people who knew people. They were going to have him put down because, according to them, he was hard to house train. Sorry, but I have never heard of a Chihuahua that was easy!
We couldn't let the poor little guy suffer because of his owner's stupidity, so we took him. We soon found out that house training was the least of his issues. Biting was now front and center and we had to use oven mitts to pick him up for almost a week. We found out later that he was not well taken care of at his old house.
Well, a year later no one can believe we have the same dog. He now does obedience and agility and loves them both. He kisses his "grandpa" and will let others pet him - just don't pick him up.
Bio:
Jake has one sister, a greyhound named Hazel, and two brothers named Gus & Al ( Sphynx cats). He loves to lick Gus and Al and will do so until they hit him or run away.
He gets more playful all the time and loves to sleep in bed.

I must say that getting up that early in the day is not my normal style. However, my dad and mom are making me sleep in my house right now 'cuase I make messes during the night if I'm out. So, in order to get my few hours of sleep in a cozy bed, I wake up extra early and pretend that I have to go pee. Then they let me out of my house and when I come inside, I head right for the bed! It is really turning into a pretty good plan. I just have to figure out how to wake mom and up a bit quicker.....they seem to take a long time to rescue me in the morning.

I've really been getting into the whole lickung thing lately. I've always been a licker, but I think I've really found my groove. I can lick for a hour on end...no stoppping.....
I have found a few new things to lick that make it extra special. I have discovered that licking the cats is great. They are nice an salty cause they sweat all the time and if you catch them sleeping, you can lick them forever and they don't wake up!!!
Now for all of you other lickers out there...I have a fun thing to do. When you go to bed at night, lick the sheets. Your mom and dad think it's gross cause they roll over all night onto wet spots!!!

I feel kinda bad today. I hurt my mom and didn't mean to. She was kissing my head and my dad said "kill". So I did. I kinda forgot that it was mom kissing me and I bit her lip. It was funny though....dad was the one who got in trouble and not me?! Dad felt pretty bad too, but he said to mom " well at least he finally listened to me!" I think that's a compliment?!
