Arrival Story:
Tully came to me in a dream, believe it or not, about 4 a.m. on a Sunday morning, about an hour before our 17 year old Queensland heeler, Coventry, suffered a terminal stroke. I woke up and remember asking myself, "Why do I have such a strong sense that this little red and white terrier will be our dog? I want another Queensland when Covvy passes away. We've always had larger dogs."
The following Monday I went online to our local SPCA webpage and browsed through photos, looking for Queenslands. I stopped browsing immediately when I saw the exact dog who had appeared in my dreams, curved plume tail and all. I called the SPCA shelter and learned that Tully, then known as "Dash", was a JRT-Queensland mix. We went to meet him that afternoon, and he became ours.
