My progress with Wobblers

Walking on my knuckle again

I scared Mom again today. She called me to go outside with her and when I got up, my left hind leg wasn't working and when I stepped down on it, my knuckle was on the floor cause I couldn't feel my piggies. My human brother carried me back to my bed. I probably could have made it but it scares them to see me put weight on the top of my foot like that. It doesn't last for long, only moments, but it does scare me too. My Prednizone came in the mail today so I've started taking it to see if it can help any swelling in my neck. That medicine makes me super thirsty. So here comes the drinkin' and peein' and drinkin' and peein'...

OMD Chance. We feel so badly for you. We are hoping the medicine helps. Just be patient (I know, we can't do that either) hopefully by the beginning of next week (Monday) things will be so much beter.

Oh Chance, we're sorry to hear this. I hope that it's just an isolated occurrence and that the beads and pred kick in.

We're sending our love.

When you have these occurrances why not have the humans assist you by using a bath towel or get you a dog lift/sling to help keep you upright so you can go outside and do your business?

Then too now that you have your medication hopefully it will work and you won't need a sling.

Coco, right now I don't need a sling. It's more scary than anything. It only lasts for short moments, maybe 30-45 seconds. So I'm able to get up and do whatever I need to do shortly after and right now, it isn't happening often. It's happened twice in the last week. But that's a shorter timeframe in between than before so Mom's worried they may come sooner and longer. But I'm on the prednizone now so we'll see. But thanks for the idea and I hope it doesn't get to that point.
