Wow, Mom's been so busy lately she hasn't had time to help me type my diary. Jeez Mom, don't forget about me! I spent all day with my older human brother yesterday and spent the night at his place last night. Yea, fun! Fun except for when he decided it would be fun to light a couple fire crackers. I didn't get scared or anything, but I got tired of it pretty quick and tried to mosey off. But he didn't do it very long so that was good. But, he told me everyone's going to be making lots and lots of loud noises this weekend. Something about celebrating independence and freedom. Sounds good to me, I'm all about freedom (keep those collars and leads away from me!) So now I'm back to my normal routine...just ate a fabulous dinner, went outside to sniff around for a bit, now I'll get to chew on a bone, nose my humans to pet me before curling up in a ball on my fluffy bed for my nightly nap.

This will be my first year with fireworks - last year we lived in a rural area.
