Arrival Story:
Daffodil came into Campbell County Humane Society (Virginia) in early March. I became aware of her via an email alert. She captured my heart and I just knew I had to have her. With the help of so many rescue folks and sponsors, Daffodil had her physical care started--spay, bloodwork, chest x-ray, vaccines--and she got on a transport train north to Pennsylvania. She arrived in my home March 19, 2011. **Cancer took the life of Daffodil in July of 2011. I'm so glad she got to experience a few months of love, good meals and a warm, safe home.

Bio:
We don't know much about Daffodil's background but we do know she's got a lot of health issues going on. She's heartworm positive, anemic and her mammary biopsy came back malignant. She's quite emaciated but on the upside she's started eating for me so that should be easy enough to resolve.
