My dog life in Kingwood

My life as it was before and how it is now....

I came to Kingwood TX from somewhere around SanAntonio. My new owners are awesome! Once they could trust me by myself, they would leave the front door open for me during the day because there was a full glass storm door so I could see everything outside! I soon became very territorial if anyone came in my yard.....The UPS lady started leaving my parents packages by the tree in the front yard because she's scared I'd come through the door!! Ha ha ha!!!! Just like I like it! I want everyone to know that this is my house!
Life was really great for a while.....I have been their only child since May 2002....But I heard them talking about getting me a sister to play with a couple of months ago....This might be a good thing.... or not! She is going to play with my toys, eat my food, drink my water and get attention that has been all mine for almost 3 years!!!
Well, the day has finally come......we went to pick up my new little 'sister' on January 15, 2005.....my is she a cutie! I really like her! When we got her home though, she went straight for my food bowl! Oh no you don't!!!! That is mine!!!! That didn't last long....she is relentless! She's not even afraid of me!!! She just came right back for more! Oh well....I guess it's okay....mom filled up 2 bowls for both of us.....
Well, it's a month later and she is sure getting big! But boy oh boy, she sure does get in a lot of trouble!!! Mom and Dad are really on her tail when she pees in the house....doesn't she get it yet???? That is not going to make them happy!
Well, she is getting a little better about peeing in the house....but she's still not perfect like me!!! Hopefully she'll learn soon....She starts puppy school on March 1st.....Hey, I never had to go to puppy school!!!! I must be perfect!!!!!
Mom and Dad still give me the run of the house and she has to go in her crate when they're gone....Ha ha ha!!!!
