First Gotcha Day

Mom surprised me with gifts today. I wondered what this was all about until mom hugged me and told me its been one year ago she took me from the shelter in Ohio. This is my forever home and I am so happy. My health is now good and I'm a healthy weight. I received a toy chicken and treats. Baby and me had a great time playing with it, Sneaker likes it too. All in all, this is a great day. Bad news is mom is taking me for shots. I don't like the vets at all but I'll take going to the vet any day to stay in a nice and loving home.

I'm Home

I came home yesterday but mom was so happy she forget to post. I.m doing alot better still some discharge but doc said it was normal.If it persists after a couple of days call them back.I sure hope i don't have to back until the 27th to take out stitches. I want to thank everyone who prayed me they helped. Bye for now.

back in the hospital

It's one week since my spay.Yesterday mom noticed that I started to lick, so on went the cone.I was really good at not licking it.Mom seen a very small piece of tissue by my stitches.It was sunday so she waited until today to call the vet and in I went.This morning it was worse,during the night it burst.The vet said it was dead tissue and it was good because it didn't smell.he looked at mom and told her I would have to stay for a few days.Moms eyes got wet and I felt really bad for her and tried to confort her.Then they took my leash and walked away with me.I could hear them tell mom not to worry they would take good care of me.Praying this will be a short stay.I have seen the vet sooooo much since mom saved me.I sure hope this well be the end of vet visits and the start of a healthy new life with the people who love me.Bye for now mom will give an update if its necessary.Say a prayer for me for a quick recovery.
