Arrival Story:
Our family had always wanted a dane, and we wanted our daughter to have a puppy to grow up with. He also keeps our old collie dog young! We love this boy!
Bio:
Mc was a show hopeful, handsome and sweet! He has impressive bloodlines that we hoped would serve him well in the ring... but oh well! He is now retired and neutered. We love him even more!
McKinley's best trait is his absolute devotion to our 5 year old daughter and our 1 year old son. He endures an unending assault of affection from them. They romp and play and, despite his huge size, he hardly ever knocks them over, but is always aware of where they are. He has a heart of gold and sweet as sugar. We look forward to many happy years of love with this boy! :)

McKinley is on the large side at 38 inches at the shoulder. Mc is a retired show dog who is raw fed. He is astonishingly gentle and sweet. He loves children and other animals. We love him!

Every morning I wake my mom up with a subtle screaching YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN!!!!! from my crate downstairs. They say I have to sleep in here because I might get into trouble. Trouble? Me? Please! It isn't my fault that I can reach all the tables, counters, sinks, and cupboards. I'm a good boy. I just like to eat. When mom finally lets me outside, I take my time. Then it's time for a hearty breakfast: 6 cups now, 6 cups at dinner. Then it's time for a rest and a romp with "my girl". My girl is my responsibility. She is a good puppy, but looks too much like a human for my taste. Oh well. We play keep away, chase, hide the toy, and tag. Mom gets out the vaccumn and I protect her from it. Then I take a nap. Baby sitting and vaccumn attacking takes a lot out of a puppy.
