Bio:
"Hi, my name is Bandera. I am a beautiful 2 year old fawn. My Foster Mom says beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With that being said you would have to look past my badly cropped ears. Believe me that is a very small thing to over look once you get to know me as your loving pet. I mind great. I am housebroken. There have been no accidents since I came to my foster home. I do have a dog door and really like to go in and out to see what else is going on in the world. I am leash trained and walk like I own the road and always let my owner stay in control. I sit at each corner with a command and will wait for you to continue at your own time. I do not pull or stray. I listen very closely to all the praise you give me and also your commands. I eat like there is no tomorrow at all meal times and I do not beg between meals. My Foster Mom loves to give me treats even though I am a little particular. She does expect me to do a trick or two before the reward. I sit, lay and love to have my belly rubbed for hours if you have the time. I did not like to be crated in the beginning and it took my Foster Mom a lot of patience to get the job done. But now I see it is really a cool place to be. I walk in like a big girl now with just a little encouragement and of course a treat. I even mind my manners with no whining or barking while I am there. I sleep all night and patiently wait for my Mom to let me out. My Mom was so happy and just a little surprised to find me in my crate the other day all by myself. She finally figured out I go there for peace and quite from my brother fur friend. He tends to want to play and not know when to stop. You know how little boys are. I am a bit of an escape artist. I have been able to squeeze under a small opening of my Mom’s electric gate across the driveway. Needless to say I no longer get to play on the driveway even when she is out there with me. I came right back but she was still upset with me. I do not show a tendency to jump but I have gotten up on my Mom’s bed and it is pretty tall. I don’t know what I would do with a low fence. I do well at bath time once you are able to get me in the bathroom. I haven’t tried it outside yet and maybe that will be a little more fun. I like smelling pretty so I think I will get a lot better as time goes on. I really like to ride in the car. My Mom folds down the back seats and I get to go from window to window and see everything. I never try to get in the front because I know Mom needs to pay attention to the road. I do need a little help getting in. Our truck is a little higher than I think I can jump but getting out is no problem. I love meeting new people and try not to jump and lick. It is getting easier but I just want them to know how happy I am to meet them as if my rear end is not already telling them the story. I have a six year old little girl that I really like to play with a lot. She loves to rub my belly. I seem to not like to play with toys very much. This could change but fetching seems to be a little overrated. I look forward to meeting my new forever home. Bandera
