Arrival Story:
My x-husband's father had passed away and we were in Pittsburgh for the funeral. The hotel we stayed at accepted dogs and I had been searching online for the 'perfect' puppy for us. We just went in to 'look' at the dogs at the shelter....and then we saw her. She was burried under a pile of her sisters. There were 5 of them, and all the males were taken ... so she and her 3 sisters were in a pile. I dug her out because she looked like a little bear. I let all the puppies out in the puppy room to see how they would react...Emma just spoke to me. Even though I wanted a little pocketbook dog ~ I was in agreeance that I could love a big dog too ~ her being border collie and the shelter saying she may have some Lab in her, I was expecting a big girl ~ but God is good and has blessed me w/ a 30lb baby girl. She is the perfect size. Big enough to play, small enough to baby and cuddle and I can still pick her up if I want! LOL. She is the perfect dog for me and I am lucky that I found her! She has brough so much joy into my life.....

The day after Valentine....

I am so happy ~ I just got on here on the 13th, and I already have a few friends! Thanks friends ~ woof, woof, woof!!
I am a little sad today though, as my friend Buster hurt his leg and is feeling under the weather. I want to play and keep biting his ears, but he wants to lay around and get better. I can't wait til he gets up and starts playing w/ me again! He is starting to put a little pressure on his leg/foot, so it won't be long now!!!
