I'm back in rescue.

My Mom had some problems and had to return me to rescue. She was working long hours and would hurry home to take me out to potty and go back to work. Well then she started going back to school at night. Them meant I was alone a LOT. I had my bed, food, water, and some toys but I was alsone. On weekends Mom had to study and go to the laundry to clean our clothers and stuff. She just was so busy and I was alone a lot. I don't mind being alone sometimes but I felt like I was always by myself. I slept with Mom and she let me know she loved me but she felt like I deserve more. I'll miss my Mom. Sooooo here I am again.

Things have not changed here very much. Puffin, Bella, Bentley Baron & Stormy are here. There are some new dogs too but they are noce. The only thing different is that Buddy is not here. Bella said for me not to say anything to the little ones about Buddy cause they get sad because Buddy went to the Rainbow Bridge 2 wks ago. WOW! Buddy's gone. I bet Mom and Dad were real sad. They loved him a lot. I'll miss Buddy too. He was really nice.

I'm happy

I'm very happy. My new mommy has nobody but me! Oh wel she has friends and family but no husband to take up her time. I get all her love. She holds me a lot and just showers me with love. I am very happy.

Mom packed my bag

Mom put some of my favorite food, my special blankie, my favorite Penguin toy and my new halter and pretty matching leash in a pretty bag. She also has a folder with all my health rcords inside. She let me watch her do that and she talked to me while she worked. She said "Josie you are going to your furever home on Sunday. Your new mommy is a single young lady who loves animals and has been working in rescue for most of her life. It will be just the two of you there. It will be your job to greet her with joy every time she comes home. You will sleep with her and keep her warm in winter. It is your job to make her smile and giggle. You will need to cuddle with her in front of TV and you will need to be nice to her friend and family. She will take good care of you. She will feed you and give you all the water you want. She will take you for walks and for rides in her car. You two will love each other and make each other happy for the rest of your life. I will never forget you and will love you always. I know your new mommie will keep in touch with me and if you are not happy she will tell me and I will come fast to get you. But you will be happy and I will take in another little dog to help as I did you". I am excited and a little scared but I trust my foster mom so I know I'm going to a good home. I have a lot to think about.

I'm leaving home.

Mom told me today that she has approved an application for me. She says it is a wonderful home. My new mom is single and I will be the center of her life. She is picking me up this weekend. I am so excited. Life is good and now I have my very own furever mommy.

Nobody wanted me.

Mom took me to adoption day at Petsmart today. It was sooooo fun. There were a lot of little kids to play with. They all stopped and gave me hugs and I gave them kisses. The mom's liked me too and asked my mom a lot of questions. But nobody wanted to adopt me. Nobody took me home with them. Mom said it's OK that God will send the perfect family for me but he is just not ready for me to go just yet. I do need to have my stitches removed before I can go to my furever home. I think, I'm sure that's what God is waiting for. Ya that must be it. Well it's OK I am safe and loved here so I will be patient.

I am feeling much better today. My foster mom has been giving me lots of hugs and cuddles and I just stayed kind of still. I have a booboo on my belly now. It's a big booboo. Mom says that is where the doctor took my parts out. I don't have parts now to make babies. Mom says that is a good thing because there are just so many little dogs who are homeless like me. I think she is right. I will be well soon and I will have a family and a home of my own. Till then I will just snuggle up with my foster parents and my doggie friends here.

It rainned a lot here today. Mom let me go out but when it started to rain I had to come inside. She said she doesn't want me to catch a cold. woof That's silly, but she carried me in anyway. woof woof, tail wags. I'm going in my fluffy bed and take a nap and listen to the rain.

My name is Josie

I have a new home, new people, new name too. My name is ZJosie now and I like it. I was not scared when I came here. The people are real nice to me and there are 3 dogs her just my size to play with. It's a good place to be.

Today I was spayed. OUCH!
