Arrival Story:
I was more than a little surprised to see a pure bred basset at the Humane Society, and I had to take her out to the yard to see how she was. She instantly bonded with my other dog, a mixed breed, and they spent the afternoon running the fence line over and over barking and howling just as happy as you please! Since bringing her home their bond has only grown stronger and they love curling up together on the couch or in bed to nap the day away.
Bio:
Originally named Diva, I learned right quick why she'd earned the name. Temper tantrums abound, especially when her big brother wants to play with something she's decided is hers. Lovable and lazy to a fault, I don't know why anyone would want to put her in the pound, but I'm glad my little diva made her way to my house.
