Arrival Story:
My husband really wanted a small dog and got on the local shelter website. We saw Maxwell, who was called Bug (he's cute as a bug!) and adopted him the next day. He was a stray and severely underweight. As of 2/21/11, he has gained 1.6 pounds and is adjusting. He was probably kept in a crate all his life and really had not socialized with other dogs. He had a problem exploring the house at first but has come out of his shell. We continue to work with him on his anxiety issues.
