Caty is an adoptable dog from Four Paws Rescue. Caty is a great dog who just wants to be given the chance to have a forever home and family. Could it be yours?
Bio:
Caty is super sweet and friendly. She is GREAT with other dogs and kids, but is NOT good with cats (she likes to chase them and we are not sure what she would do if she caught one). She is completely house-trained and very well-behaved in the house. She likes to lie around the house and is mellow, but still has the energy to go for a nice daily walk. She is very quiet and rarely barks in a home. She is very smart and even knows some basic commands (sit, lay down and come). She's also eager to please and food motivated. She loves to go for car rides. Caty is a sensitive girl who is extremely loyal and bonds to her people quickly. When Caty first came to us in February 2011, she weighed a healthy 35 lbs. She's been in a couple foster homes, and each time she has gained a couple pounds. She just came back from a foster home and has gained at least 10 lbs. Caty now weighs a hefty 60 lbs for such a small statured dog. She definitely needs to lose some weight now that she's back in our director's hands. Caty is about 7 years old and is a mixed breed. We really have no idea what breeds she has in her. She could possibly have some Border Collie, but we don't know for sure. She has a short sleek brown and white coat. She's a really pretty dog! Caty's adoption fee is $125 which includes she is up to date with shots and spayed. It says we are located in Syracuse, Utah which is not true. The volunteer who updates the pages on Dogster lives in Syracuse, but Four Paws is located in Logan. We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events at the Layton Petsmart only. We rescue dogs and cats from local kill shelters before they're going to be euthanized. We will also occasionally take in owner surrenders, but a majority of our animals come from kill shelters. We then place them into caring foster homes (if available) until they are adopted into forever homes. All Four Paws Rescue dogs will be up- to-date with shots (Rabies and Parvo/Distemper) and spayed/neutered before they are adopted.
