Life can be ruff...

So it's been a tearful, ruff day 'round here. Today we lost our good friend and neighbor Puck. Mama was grocery shopping around 10:30 and noticed she missed a call from Puck's mom around 9:30 this morning. She sent a text to ask if everything was all right and got a text back that Puck had a seizure while on their walk. Mama's heart was crushed twofold, once fur the ONE TIME her phone wasn't glued to her so she wasn't available to help and also because Puck's our good friend and neighbor. Puck's mama has a bad back and had to carry Puck's lifeless body allllll the wayyyy home while walking Bish. Good thing Bish is good on a leash. Sadness. Sadness. Sadness. Mama was cryin' in the store.

As Mama left the store and was driving home she saw a homeless guy on the side of the road with an umbrella propped to keep his dog out of the sun. Just ripped mama's heart all the way in two. Mama had such a heartache seeing this that she drove to the cash machine, then back to the grocery store, bought the best quality food and box of treats she could find and a large water fur the pooch and then a sandwich and two bananas fur the man. She ran out to the car and started driving home but she couldn't find them. They were nowhere to be found. Sadness again. Mama's just hoping that someone helped them out.

That was the second time Mama was too late to help out a helpless pup and their person. The last time was earlier this year in the winter. There was a bicycle outside the store with a makeshift trailer on the back with bags of clothes and a lil shivery dog but the person must've been inside the store. Crushed Mama's and Carly's heart. Mama and Carly got some stuffs fur them, but when they went outside. Gone.

These are ruff times for peoples and pooches. Sometimes you gotta lend a paw and help out. Mama's just gonna keep that bag of food and treats in the trunk of her car fur the next time, being mindful of the freshness dates ;-)

That's pretty much all fur now. Mama's so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so busy and doesn't let me or Charlie get on the computer much cuz she can't even breathe she's so busy and stressed and not feeling well. Actually, she's procrastinating doing her work right now, the only reason I'm allowed to be on here... lol. Mama found out she has high blood pressure so she just started meds fur that last week. Mama knew she wasn't feelin' right fur a month or more but waited untl she felt scary bad to even go to the doc. Bad, MAMA, BADDD. And now Mama thinks she has a disc problem in her lower back. She was feeling like her leg was gonna give out sometimes when we was doing our favoritest way to start the day, our morning walks/jogs, and it's gotten worse because the other morning when Mama wasn't payin' attention I bolted fur a squirrelfriend I saw. Mama let out a shriek of pain and could barely walk home and now we can't go fur walks anymore till this is all figured out. We're all sad 'bout that :( BUT, as Mama always sez, it can ALWAYS be worse.

Gotcha Day was good. There's no place like home, a home where my peoples woofs me very, very, very, very very much and a home where I has 3 kitties to play with and a home with a big little brother that I woof wrestling with efurry day. Life is good :)

Belated Easter and stuffs

Fangs to efurrypup fur the Easter gifts and hope everyone had a good day! Mama FINALLY let us on the real computer. She's always on dat dumb smartphone and only uses her laptop fur work. Chawie and I gots to go to camp fur the day on Easter. It was so so fun. We ran and jumped and played inside and outside. We slept furever after coming home. But mama gots mad at the camps peoples because they crated us when we was supposed to be out in the play yard. Das not right. Das not what she paid fur. Don't mess wiff mama! Mama's torn about taking us back there. She sez she knows we woofs that place and had the mostest fun efur, but now she doesn't trust dem peoples and doesn't want to leave us wiff peoples she doesn't think are honest and trustworthy. They have cameras there. That's how she busted em. We wasn't on camera. BOL Das not too smart of dem peoples. They must've thought mama was at Easter brunch already, but, NO, mama woofs watching us play so she was checkin on us from home and then had to call and compwain cuz we was nowheres to be seen.

Anyfur, hope efurrybody has been good. Mama sez she'll try to get back here more often. She lives a life of iPhone apps. Maybe Zaidie can talk to HQ and gets that ball rollin ;-)

It's been a great year. I gots a new brudder. I am always thankful that I was saved and adopted. I have a gwate family, mama lets me sweep in her bed now, I have kitties. Life is good!

I's so happy. Mama taked me to da pawk. My best furiend Shelby's mama texteded my mama and sed day was goin. Mama decided I needed a bwake fwom dis wittle brudder o' mine so we goed. It was so so fun. I woofs da dog pawk. Chawie is gonna be so happy when he can wun awound dere. He's not even gonna bweeve how fun it is, but he's gotta wait till he's 4 mos. My baby bwudder been wiff us free weeks now and I woof him sooo much. We pway and pway and pway and I twy to get him to chase me -- my favorite! It's da best, pupsters! I's so happy but I gets awfully sweepy fwom pwaying so much!

I not suwe how I feels 'bout dat. I added Baby Chawie (or Charlie if you sez it wike Mama)to my fambly. I wikes bein da cenner a 'tention but it would pwobwy be fun to have somewun to pway wiff cuz i wuvs to pway wiff udder pupsters. I gots two mowe weeks ta be da top dog in da house an i gonna take 'vantage of dis as much as I cans!

Mama almost bwought me home a sister wast night. She was at a mega adoption event and she was handwer for a 9 month old wab mix pup who was just da sweetest wittle giwrl. Mama def knewed i woulda wiked dat girl cuz she don't got needle teef no more. Mama bweaved a sigh of rewief when a fambly adopted her 'about an hour before Mama's shift was done. BOL Mama comed home wate wast night and smelled likes a million dogs! It was gwate! My sniffers tiwed today from sniffle snafflin all her cwose!

Howloween mishaps...

I not suwe if I disapawnted or not... Mama gots me a Howloween costume fur da dawg pawk pawty and it dint fit. Day not make costumeses fur big chested dawgs like me :( Even doh I dint wanna weared dat siwwy spawkly faiwy pwincess costume dat she gots me wiff da siwwy hat, I still not happy dat day not have em in chest sizes fur us well endowed pupps! I think maybe I needa open a Pawtoria's Secwet store... BOL
