I am so smart!

My mom says I am so smart. I have learned some real important commands. Come, Sit, Stay, Lay, Leave it, and Roll Over! My mom sent my foster mom a email to my foster mom yesterday to brag on how smart I am. Then she heard about my bestest rescue friend Andy going to Jesus. She sent mom a note to tell her we are so sad about that and thanked her foor saving him from the streets. He probably would have died in the gas chamber at the pound or in the streets if she and our foster dad had not taken him in. He died knowing he was loved and having humans to love back and having friends who loved him too. Poor Andy. He was my bestest, bestest, bestest, rescue friend. Fly high over us all Andy and come to visit me in my dreams.

I'm out of here!

Yahooooooo! I have a home of my own. I got adopted. I have a brother and a sister now. I am on a home trial but I'm going to try to be very good. I just love it here. I have all I want and I hope I get to stay.

Josie is getting adopted.

My goodest friend Josie is going to leave this weekend to live in her new furever home. It's going to be hard to say good-bye to her. I am happy for her. I had a home once and I just missed being adopted. They didin't want me cause I have accidents inside sometimes. I try real hard to remember to go out but I lived my whole 2 yrs of life in a small crate and had to potty inside it. I am getting the hang of it but I am not perfect. I hope someone has a place for a not so perfect little dog.

New friend.

I have a new friend. My friend is called Josie and she is all black. Mom says she would have named us ebony & Ivory if she had known Josie would need a place to stay. That is silly. Josie and Roxy are better names. I like Josie but she had to get surgery so she doesn't feel so much like playing with me. She will feel better soon and we can play then. Mom ays i need to give her a few days. I am playing with Gypsy and Puffin for now. Mom says I am going to get my spay if the vet says I am ok foir that next week. I don't know if I want to do that.

I'm not sick!

When I came her I weighed just at 5 pounds. Today I weigh 7 pounds. She said that my doctor will be very pleased. Mom says I have to go to my doctor on Thursday. She says I have to get spayed. She says if I don't do that I could have babies. Hummmm I don't want babies. I like being the baby. I guess I will go.

I went to the vet

Today took 2 of us to the vet. I had to go for a check up. The vet said I have gained almost 2 pounds since I came here. Mom feeds me a lot of good food and it's working. The vet said I can be spayed next week. That sounds scary to me. Molly said it hurts. She said she slepy for a whole day and was sore when she woke up. I'm scared. I

My friend Molly is leaving here next week. She's getting adopted. She has been here a long time and mom is already sad because she is going. She is going to live far away and dad and mom have checked real good to make sure she is going to a real good home. Still it's hard to say good bye to a friend. I love Molly and I wish her good luck and a very happy life in her new home.

Wednesday

Wednesday is the middle of the week. Mom told me so. I am having a good week. Molly and Heidi played with me today, I took a nap on Dad and I had a sun bath. I ate all my dinner and I pottied on the pad for mom today when I was inside. I don't quite have the hang of that doggie door yet. It';s pretty scary to me. I am scared ot will swing and hit me and hurt me. All my friends use it but I'm not ready.

I think I have gained some weight. I'm still thin but not as much as I was when I came her. Mom feeds me plenty and I get treats too. She says my vet wants me to gain weight before he will spay me.

Oh well it's time for bed. Good night.

I'm scared

I don't understand what has happened. My mom brought me to a place and left me with the people there. Life made big changes from then. It's only been 3 days!!! The man is a vet and mom said she didn't want me anyome and doesn't have time for me. I was so sad to hear that. She told him how I have lived my life for the most part inside my crate. I ate inside and pottied inside. My pee-pee made my once pretty fur turn yellow. I smelled really bad and my coat got very matter and nasty cause my mom didn't have time to brush me or take me out for a bath or a walk. The vet Tech cut all my coat off with all the mats too. Then I came here and I got a warm bath and a warm blow dry too. I have a CLEAN crate and clean water and good food. I didn't get much food in my home. I was hungry a lot. I'm kind of scared so I choose to stay in a nice crate in the dinning room. The door is open so I can go out if I want to. I said hi to the other dogs here and my foster mom and dad have rubbed my belly and have been real sweet to me so far. Foster Mom has cut my nails and filed them smooth and she cleaned my ears, and she gives me LOTS of food. It sure is different now. Tomorrow I may get out of the crate and play with my new friends. They all seem so happy. I want to be happy too.
