Arrival Story:
I was rescued by Pets Without Partners, who helped my new mom and dad find me! My brother and I were so cute together, they almost got both of us! I'm their first puppy though, so they thought they should just take me. I heard my brother was adopted really soon after! My dad is a Chicago Cubs fan and already had the name Wrigley picked out, and I love it! The nice people who helped me get adopted thought I might be a labradoodle. My parents were so curious, they had a DNA test done! They discovered that I am 1/2 Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 1/4 German Shepherd, and 1/4 Australian Kelpie! My fur looks black, but up close most of it is brownish-red. I have a white patch on my chest and some small white patches on my paws and right under my mouth - it's my soul patch! My fur is wavy, and is getting longer and thicker! Now that they know what I'm made of, they understand why I love to run and jump and almost never get tired! I keep a careful watch over anything that I might consider food, so my parents are trying to help me not to be so worried about my next meal. I was almost 10 weeks old when I went to my new home. I was so quiet when they met me, they picked me over my noisy brother! I really fooled them! It didn't take long for me to find my voice, and I'm very vocal now! I'll never let you forget I'm here!
