Arrival Story: Brok along with his brother and sister were owner surrenders to the Dachshund Rescue of North America. I volunteer with DRNA and I help with home visits and transports. And I became familiar with the organization and I just fell in love with what they did and how awesome they are and I was on the website one day just looking at all the the little babies that DRNA helps and saves and I ran across that face and I knew that I had to have him, so I applied and through the application process I was notified that they would love for me to have him. And I went and met his transport and I have been in love ever since! He was about 5 months old when I adopted him. Bio: Brok has a brother "Toby" that is a long hair red dapple doxie. I set my "big" mug of 2 cups of coffee on the table and went to the other room to get some paper and when I came back, my "lil coffee snatcher" was on top of the table and had enjoyed my full cup off coffee. He stood there and licked his little lips as coffee fell off his wiskers...so needless to say since mommy didn't have anymore peroxide...off to the vet we go........lol A lesson learned for mommy...no coffee on the table. Put it in a high place so no one or no fur baby can get it =)
