My wife and I just got lucky with Quincy. We just called the pound one day and they said they had a terrible looking basset hound. Quincy weighed about 30 pounds and had been abused. He could hardly move because he was so scared from all the noise in the shelter. But once I saw those eyes my heart melted and I knew that this was the dog for us. He still has some issues but he has turned out to be the best little furball me and my wife could have asked for and we love him to death.
