   Leave a bone for Drifter

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-purebred-service dog

Gotcha Date:
June 15th 2007

April 18th 2003

Food, cuddles, walks, people, vets, comfy places to curl up (such as our sofa and the mattress under my desk)

Swimming (he was terrified of it), baths, getting blood drawn (he was fine with shots, though), rain, really hot weather

Favorite Toy:
real bones! he also liked raw hide

Favorite Food:
Anything, really. He loved pretty much every kind of kibble and treats I tried, with the exception of carrots and dried hot dog

Favorite Walk:
Going to Imberg (a nearby village)

Best Tricks:
he knew many, many commands, but only two "tricks": shake and roll-over. His cutest antic wasn't trained: he jumped up and down with joy when it was time for kibble

Arrival Story:
I received Drifter as a "fully trained" service dog when he was four. His training wasn't as good as I expected, but he's a LOT better now. While we were matched by a training organization, he seconded the decision: when the door opened, he ran out and sat down right next to me, ignoring the trainer and my parents. Since then, we've only gotten closer.

Forums Motto:
Will work for food or cuddles.
