Having right behind his ear scratched and you see his leg kicking like crazy!

Other male dogs, he doesn't like them too much unless they stay with him for a little while. But he gets really stressed out from them!

Favorite Toy:
His tennis ball, so classic but so wonderful!

Favorite Food:
Whatever food that was left on the countertop. That's one of his little problems that he still does ritually. Hopping up on the counter when nobody is looking and snacking on whatever food is up there!

Favorite Walk:
He likes the free roam on my grandparents land but really loves our 150 acres to run through too! Supervised of course!

Best Tricks:
High five and roll over, but we don't make him to roll over anymore because it is bad for his back.

Arrival Story:
I was three years old and my brother was one year old. We already had one dog at the time, but they wanted us to be raised with a puppy who would be like a sibling! So my parents went to the Humane Society and looked for a dog and found this dog with its big floppy paws hanging through the cage and those big brown eyes staring them back (this is how my mother said it was). Later that week they brought us to the Humane Society and one of the volunteers brought this little gold puppy with yet, those big floppy paws and big brown gooey eyes. I got to walk him to the car on this skimpy little leash and I was being dragged along behind him. He went directly to our car and hopped right in after the door was open. When he met Maggie, our other dog. Maggie thought he was her baby and taught him the ropes of being a dog. Every since he has been our incredible older dog!

Dutch was the only puppy left from his litter of being a stray. He was so very lucky to survive and we are so blessed to have him as a family member!

When I discovered the evil Fox Trap ...

When I was a younger dog, I was visiting my humans grandparents and when I snuck outside, I ran off too far! I got lost and got caught in a wolf trap. My foot got all caught and clawed up. It was the coldest winter that they had back at those humans' house, and I was trapped out there for THREE DAYS! I was SO cold, lucky I was part Husky! I might not have made it!

The people who owned the trap never checked their traps, so my humans went and set off all the traps they could find with sticks so no other animals would suffer! When I was brought back to the other humans house I had hypothermia (not sure what that is, all I know is, I was REALLY cold!) Straight to the vet I went!

I'm kind of strange, since I absolutely LOVE the vet! Even though I was in a lot of pain I didn't mind when they touched me, or even the paw that got caught! I got my paw all fixed up and have a battle wound! I don't mind if people touch my paw, it doesn't bother me at all!

Scout and I had to sound the pawlarm to an oil truck intruder! We had to warn the humans, even though they were grumpy about it! So what if it was 6:00 in the morning, or that we barked two hours after the truck left! We saved their lifes for all they know!

They're in a MUCH better mood now having what they call, coffee ... Whatever THAT is! All I know is that it smells really bad!

Well one human is off to make breakfast! I better start the begging now! My pawdorable big mushy eyes ALWAYS gets them! Heck! I've even gotten a filet minion from them with my eyes! Now I did have to get it off the counter, but it was left there so fair game!

Time to beg!

Boy, what a good day! So nice and quiet! Since my humans are home for exams (the ones in high school ... that must be like dog school, but for humans!)

I slept on the couch like a puppy, belly up, paws in the air! SOO comfy! I slept in until 9:00 and then got my breakfast! Chicken, green beans (BLECK, I don't like those much, but the chicken and kibbles are SOO good!)

My human sister took us for a 'walk'. Heheheheh, me and Scout are little jokers, so we take her for her walk and more! The 'walks' consist of a consistant 9km jog for a full hour! After this though me and Scout get exhausted! I'm not gonna lie, I am the one who likes to tug. I blame it on my breeds, I'm part husky. Sled-dog! But my human sister is forgiving and doesn't get me in too much trouble, other then saying 'No' and 'Stop' and 'Heal'. I don't take too much notice in these words, but still my human sister will just let me run.

Then I got back to the house, drank up some water, then headed for the couch! I'm truly a couch potato! But hey! At my hefty age of 13, I have earned my restful days! One human went to write a test so I said goodbye to him to!

Well, I see the treat bag with my human sister so I am going to go and put on my cute face! ... Who am I kidding? I always have my cute face on! Bark you later!
