Shopping Day

My day out!

Today started out like any other Saturday but instead of stuffing my treat ball to chew on when River goes to class, mom stuffed River's kong. Then dad put my crate in the car and then he put me in the crate and off we went. I was so confused. Just mom, dad and me without River. Was I going to the vet? I didn't feel sick and it's not time for shots. I couldn't believe my eyes when the car stopped. Mom and dad took me to the stadium where they were having a fundraiser for the humane society. It was great. I met lots of nice dogs and lots of people stopped to pet me. I loved it when a little girl came over and gave me love. My mom shared her chicken strips with me and a little beagle. Someone gave me a whole dish of fromms food and mom bought me some treats. She says I have to share them with River, but at least I didn't have to share mom and dad and this 1 day with him. It was all mine and I loved every minute of it.

Girls day out

Mom and I had a girls day out today and it was great. No pesty little brother, just me and mom. We went to the pet expo. I got a new purple bandana to wear. I got lots of attention from people and especially some cute little kids. I met lots of new dogs and we watched frisbee dogs, drill teams and horses. To bad the expo only comes once a year.
