Quick Bio:

He loves being loved on. He couldn't be happier with some good attention! He loves playing with other dogs and running around. He doesn't quite get the whole fetch thing, but we're working on it. Throw it though and he's as happy as can be to try

Cats! He's horrified of them! They are the only thing he's ever reacted bad to, not aggressive just honestly fears for his life.

Favorite Toy:
Ropes of any kind in the world. Loves to chew on them and play tug of war and toss with them. :)

Favorite Food:
EVERYTHING! He will eat anything in front of him. I admit I've tested this, lemons, oranges, hot pepper. Puppy No even!

Favorite Walk:
Through the woods near our house. He loves the smells and the people we meet on the paths

Best Tricks:
He's not the brightest tool in the shed. He can sit, stay and down. Believe it or not he's a Clicker Graduate!

Arrival Story:
Sometimes good things just happen to us, and that's the way I look at Cletus finding his way to me. This summer while driving home I spotted a little sack of bones on the side of the road. That's all Cletus really was back then. I picked him up and found that he was covered from nose to tail in fleas. The poor guy was in the worst shape I've ever seen a puppy in my life. He weighed five and a half pounds and they estimated him at about 8 weeks old. With the fleas gone and food in his belly this personality started coming out, he was suddenly a real dog not a zombie puppy like when we found him. Cletus has had health problems unfortunately his entire life. From Demedex (mange), to klutzy accidents, he's been at the vet literally every other week his entire life (if not every week). For some reason, after the thousands he's cost us, we would never imagine getting rid of him :)

Forums Motto:
Lover boy

A Little More:
Cletus is the biggest lover you will ever meet. I never have met a dog before in my life who wanted to be loved more than him. He wants to be by your side, he wants to come with you wherever you go. He just is honestly the sweetest thing you could imagine. When you get mad at him he knows it and you can tell that every part of him is begging to be forgiven and loved.
