One of my human brothers left home a couple weeks ago. Mom said he was going somewhere called college. I don't know what that is and they wouldn't take me when they packed up the jeep with his stuff in it so that I could find out and make sure this new place was secure. Once again, not letting me do my job. I miss him because he's the best at getting on the ground and playing with me. I especially love it when he hides from me. He'll throw my toy and I'll go get it and when I come back and he's not there, I drop the toy immediately and go on the search! I've been trying to play with Chance in the yard, but she only likes to chase me rather than romp around like we used to. Mom tries to play and does a good job at throwin my ball and runnin around with me, but it's nothing like what me and him do.

But great news. Mom says this weekend is a long weekend (I'm not sure how she's stretching the days, but I'm cool with it) and he'll be home to see me. I'm pumped. I'm getting all my toys lined up in the living room so we can play with all of them. When mom sweeps the floor she's just going to have to sweep around them. The countdown is on and Mom's going to help me count. Three...

That's cool that your skinbro will be home soon. But, here's what I did when my skinbro left for the Air Force. I took over his room! Well, not really, but I do sleep on his bed in the daytime. Try it! You can move your toys and stuff in there. It could be your own cave!

That's a great idea, I wonder if I can sneak in there and do that. But, I'm not allowed upstairs. I do sleep on the landing from time to time so I can watch the humans when they're sleeping and watch the front door at the same time. And my brothers bed has water in it...ever heard of such a thing? Mom thinks I might bust it if I get in it, but wouldn't that be great cause then we'd have an indoor swimming pool, woo hoo!

I know you miss him, but he will be home from time to time so it won't be that bad. I think an indoor swimming pool would add to your home's property value so you would be doing the humans a favor. LOL

My boss boy and unfurbro are both at college now...only pawtrents and kitties to pawlay with...I feel for you!

I got to see my boss boy this day, he came home just briefly, so that was happy:) and sad:( all at the same time!
