Arrival Story:
Zebedee is an Australian Labradoodle. I found out about psychiatric service dogs and I kept reading more and more and realized that maybe one could help me with ptsd and other congruent disorders I have. I didn't expect to get a dog very soon but I did spend a lot of time talking with my therapist about how much a dog might help me. Even a pet dog could be of great help. After one particularly hard session my therapist offered to actually call one of the breeders I had found. The next time I saw my therapist she told me there was a puppy who seemed to be a very good match for me and that I could get a dog much sooner if I wanted. I talked with my therapist and my other therapist and all my close friends about all the concerns i had about if I should get a dog now or wait and I decided to get the dog sooner rather than wait. My landlord didn't want me to have a dog and my husband had had many issues with the landlord so we decided to move and moving all happened very quickly. I went from planning to get a dog in maybe 9 months to planning to get a dog in less than one month! We moved then my husband had to be gone for business for a week right after the move but work he was doing was closer to the breeder so he picked up Zebedee after the work ended and brought her home to me on the 9th on april.

Bio:
zeb is so brave and so soft. she is the softest dog i have ever known she is softer than anything i know. she also likes blueberries.
