Can anyone help me? I have a cold and it is really bugging me! Mom gives me benadryl in hopes of stopping my nose from draining. It doesn't always work well an I get freaked out woof woof. Then I panic until mom holds me and cuddles with me for a long time...wag wag grin. Oh I hate this cold! Achewwoof, sniffle.

Miles, oh dear! Your freak like having a reaction to Benadryl? Are you sure it's the pink 25 mg. kind that DOES cause drowsiness? That's the kind for doggers. The sinus kind has something in it that's bad for dogs. When we use it in the summer for the itchies we sometimes use it every 12 hours. Are your eyes running too? We have a dusty heater and Fitz sometimes has to have over-the-counter eye drops. If it's only your nose running, could be something around the house that's bothering you. We understand that dogs don't get colds like humans do.
