Arrival Story:
I am a foster failure. I was fostering Leala for Sanctuary Plus Rescue and fell in love. She went into heat 2 days after she came to stay with us and we 'had' to hold her for a month until she could be spayed prior to adoption. During that time, we were taking applications and did a couple home visits. Unfortunately (ha), she dug her way into my heart and is never leaving. Niko thinks she is his.

Bio:
Leala is timid with new people, places and situations. She is such a precocious, I mean, precious little monkey at home and completely irresistable. She's the princess of the house; it amazes me how one little dog can have so much attitude that she can run the show with the big dogs w/o fighting. They just allow her to steal their toys, prime sleeping spots, etc. She's an adorable, cuddly 'lil b.....totally frustrating at times but lovable. I had to reinforce the chainlink fence with 4x4s and zip tie the fence to the boards. She kept running under the fence to greet all the dogs that walk/jog by.
