Just a quick note to say goodbye to all of you. I've been called to the Rainbow Bridge and need to leave. Please keep nice thoughts for my mom and dad, as well as for my brother and sisters. They're all very sad right now because I left so suddenly. But I'll still be watching all of you on Dogster!
You all stay safe!

It's been awhile, but it's been kind of busy. We fostered a little boy pyr, Sammy, for about 1-1/2 months. We loved having him around. He liked to play and play ... he was well-behaved ... he almost became another member of the family. But Mom's sister decided she wanted to adopt him because he looks like Joey. So he moved over to her house, which is only about 5 blocks away. He gets to come over for playdates and sleepovers once or twice a week.
Now, we're fostering Sheeba. She's pretty cool, too ... for a girl. Mom says she's better behaved than we are ... yeah, whatever!
Fortunately, the hurricanes missed Florida. But we all feel really bad for all the people and pets who lost each other. Mom sent a great big box of necessities to Mississippi ... towels and food and bowls ... all sorts of things she says they can use. I even threw in my new package of rawhide bones ... hope they like them.
That's about it for now ... it's my 8th birthday today and Mom had frosty paws ice cream for all of us ... but now, I'm a bit tired so I'm off to bed.

Well, it's that time again ... summer in Florida with rain and wind and thunder and lightning. And then those tornadoes and hurricanes. Sometimes I think about moving to Alaska!
These storms really bothered me before ... now I'm getting older and they're not quite as bad. Guess, I grew up a bit.
But Joey and Dixie are really scared of them and they never were before. If the storms come at night, Dixie sats at the foot of the bed and hits mom with her paw. Joey paces and pants and drools. Sometimes he'll come on the bed so mom and dad can pet him ... but he gets really scared and shakes a lot. Dixie eventually settles down, but Joey takes awhile. Mom usually closes all the shades so they can't see the lightning flashes. I don't laugh at Dixie or Joey, 'cause I know how I used to be scared. Mom says Joey might have to see the vet so he's not so afraid next time. Hope I get to go to the vet with him ... I like it there, they give me cookies!
Oh no, it's raining again ...
