Arrival Story: We saw an add in the paper for a farm in Lancaster, Pa. and decided to check it out. When we arrived we found it to be an awful place full of innocent dogs piled up on one another. Their living conditions were outrageous. The puppies were taking from their mothers at too young of an age, didn't know how to eat or drink. Some were very sick, including Mia. There was a section of dogs in cages surrounded by a closed fence, we were told were older dogs, and were not permitted to see.

Bio: I chose Mia out of several beautiful dogs. I was told at the time by the breeder (later to find out she knew absolutely nothing about the dogs she was producing) that she was 7 weeks old later to find out she was only 4 weeks old. She didn't know how to eat or drink, instead of drinking the water she would dump her whole face in. We were told she had her shots and was wormed, also very soon after to find out her little lungs were FULL of worms along with a nasty upper respiratory infection, kennel cough, and developed mainge. Now almost a year old and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Still battling mainge, she sees the doctor once a month faithfully for checkups. We are blessed to have her with us today, unfortunately we could only save one of the dogs. Place's such as this one should be shut down for animal neglect.
