Gotcha Date: December 23rd 2010 Birthday: October 28th 2010 Likes: Sniffing things outside, chasing Kip, stealing things from Kip, chewing on her deer antler Pet-Peeves: The blow-drier. Bathtime. Large dogs that are hyper. Favorite Toy: Bitty squirrel and my socks. Favorite Food: Cottage cheese! She goes crazy for the stuff! Favorite Walk: Anywhere! She loves going on walks. Best Tricks: Sit, down, "hand-slap!", "look at me", DANCE!!!, spin, kisses Arrival Story: I couldn't decide on whether to get a pom or a chi, and ended up finding Oogie (then GiGi), a Pomeranian/chihuahua mix from a breeder that lived a few hours away. I wanted a dog with the affection/cuddliness/love of a chihuahua and the sociability/physical features of a pomeranian, and after going back and forth between one breed or the other I ultimately decided on going for the mix. I picked up Oogie when she was 8 weeks old, and ended up getting her brother Kip (from the same litter) when he was 13 weeks old. Adopting littermates is taboo, but I can honestly say it was the best thing I've ever done even if it was 4x the work! My two little furkids are total personality opposites and I couldn't see myself without either of them in my life! Bio: Oogie's mama was a chocolate sable Pomeranian named Izzy who was sweet, energetic, and affectionate with everyone she met~ she loved to give kisses and get hugs. Her daddy, Boomer, was an extremely laid-back and well mannered lavendar and white long hair Chihuahua who's favorite thing was to cuddle and be petted on the couch. Both parents were on the quiet side, as neither of them barked the times I went over to visit! With parents like that, I figured she'd be the perfect puppy, as she was the runt and the calmest of all her littermates~ ideal qualities for apartment living.
Oogie is my little 3.5 pound diva princess~ she is outgoing, smart, independent, and a TOTAL lady. Spunky to boot! She struts around like she owns the place and can't fathom how anyone can cross her path without doting on how cute she is. If she had a voice, it would be like a higher-pitched drunk Lindsay Lohan from Robot Chicken, or possibly the Kardashians' voices on SNL skits. I often call her my little Honey Badger~ any of you who have seen the "honey badger don't care! Honey badger don't give a ****!!" would understand why xD Forums Motto: The Princess Honey Badger The Last Forum I Posted In: Torn about whether or not to Spay I've Been On Dogster Since:
