Arrival Story:
Once when we were up in Washington D.C. visiting some friends, they had their dog with them which was a Papillon/Chihuahua mix named Salsa. Needless to say, we fell in love! At the time, our daughter was working at a local petstore and informed us that they had some new puppies in and wanted us to come see a little mini schnauzer. So we decided to go ahead and stop by to see her. But it wasn't the Schnauzer that caught my eye; I saw a little 10 week old Papillon puppy. I subtley reminded my husband that my birthday was coming up in just two weeks. Next thing I know, a few days later in walks my husband with Mitzi cradled in his arms! And she has been by my side ever since.
