Arrival Story:
I bred Jacksons' mom Duchess so that we could keep one of her puppies. I knew the only addition to the family Duchess would accept would be one of her own. Jackson was the fourth born and Duchess was so tired from labor that he got stuck in the birth canal. We had a really hard time helping her deliver this puppy. By the time he was out and we could could get him from the sack, he wasn't breathing. My partner is from Mississippi and she was pretty aggressive when she was working on him. As you can see he survived. So I called him Jackson after Colonel Jackson because surviving his birth and Kerri was comparable to surviving the mighty Mississip!

Some of you used to know me as Jackson, which was a fine name. However, I have a new name and I think I like it even better! It's Sir Duke, but everyone will call me Duke. You see, I'm going to live at my human mommies brothers house. He has a wife and three kids that are going to love me up! I already like the girl, she is 12 years old and just loves puppies! So I will wirte again soon to let you know how I like my new home, wish me luck!

Still a blur

Hello big, beautiful world! My eyes have finally opened, and although everything is still a bit blurry I can see the possibilities. I found my way out of my box last night. My mom and my human mommies were quite perplexed. (Actually, I think they were quite impressed!) Anyway, now that I can see and I'm learning to walk, it won't be long before I will be terrorizing the whole house! I don't really have a lot to share as of yet, but give me time...
