Arrival Story:
I was looking for an active companion to run with, as I am active in triathlons. I had my sights set on a Pointer or a herding breed, a dog with long legs or had alot of endurance. A friend of mine on the Barrie SPCA Board of Directors gave me the heads up about a Retriever they had just gotten in that was a complete doll. I could not resist going to check him out, even though I vowed I would never get a Retriever. Fate had something else planned. After spending some time with him, I saw that he had lots of energy to burn and seemed eager enough to learn. I took him home the next day and it's be an adventure ever since!
