Arrival Story:
Originally, I had wanted to adopt a dog from a local shelter. After spending all weekend looking for the right dog to fit in our family, I had no such luck. Disheartened, I picked up a local classified magazine and came across the miniature schnauzers a local breeder was selling. I went to go see Chucky and his sister at the breeders home that same night and knew Chucky was the one!

Surgery for my bladder stones

Potty Accident

Please help! So Chucky has been wonderfully potty trained since he was a little puppy and never had accidents his entire 6 years. He had bladder surgery in December and now he is pottying in the living room, same spot! It's happening while we are not around and I'm unsure if they did something to his bladder that is now not letting him hold it in until we opened the door to the back yard for him, or what? I'm thinking of crate training him again, but I am still waiting to hear back from his vet to see what they think.
Any suggestions? Ideas? Experiences?
Thanks!!

What the woof?!?

Woof! Woof! It's been weeks since I've said hello to anyone!I have recovered so well from my surgery that my momma has decided to go back to work and keep busy again. That makes me pretty sad and between her gone and me not getting all my yummy snacks anymore I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WOOF IS GOING ON!?!?

The lab reports came back from the vet and showed that my bladder stones were indeed crystal oxylates and I am forever now confined to a strict diet :(

The good thing is that I am bounced back from surgery pretty well and I am as good as new!!

Happy Friday! Woof!

Healing well....

It will be almost 2 weeks this Monday since I've had my surgery and I am feeling much better. My momma is finally letting me jump off and on the couch. I'll be having my stitches taken out on Monday so I won't have to wear this dumb cone on my head. :)
I don't understand why I'm not getting anymore snacks and yummy treats. I'm now on a very strict diet since having bladder stones. It makes me pretty confused and my mom feels really, really bad.
Anywoof, I hope you all have a great New Years! I'll be snuggled on the couch with my mom, dad and 3 year old brother to ring in the New Year!
Woof!!
Chucky

P.S. Thanks to those leaving me presents :)
