Arrival Story:
Danni is the runt of 'Milli's' last litter. Quite a nervous disposition, has a very tender nature. I kept her after all her siblings had gone, as she had not "done" as well as they. Kept too long.....now I've gotten attached to her

My Mother has had 3 litters. 4 Males the first time (I don't know any of them),
3 Males and 2 females the second (2 Males are still in the human family (Splash and Lex) , so I see them often, 1 female (Charli) has shifted to Queenstown with a friend, so I will meet her one day.

I was born on 21 October 2004. Last born of six females!! ON MUMMY's bed!
I was 6 ounces born, my sisters weighed in at 7 - 8 ounces. Four of my siblings were quite strong and rather pushy, so two of us had to have some extra attention. All of a sudden I was the only one left with my Mother because I was a bit on the skinny side. I was glad to be still here, because I'm quite shy and very timid. I scream a lot with loud noises, if someone comes in the gate when I am outside by myself. I get frights very easily.

I still see one of my sisters (Libby) because she just lives around the corner and comes to visit quite often..... She is still bossy too, but I am getting stronger, and one of these days I am going to fight my own battles instead of my Mother coming to my aid all the time. Another sister, Rongomai lives in same City, so I will see her again one day.

My Mother loves to swim in the pond, and when I was 10 weeks old I ran down the hill after her and couldn't stop when I got to the pond....and fell right in! The most traumatic event of my life. I don't go too near it now 'cos I nearly drowned but one of my human family got me out - he was screaming louder than me, but that was because I was in shock....... Then to top it all off - I had to have a BATH. I was not too impressed with that either.

Our Veterinary Surgeon took me for his old Mother, but after having me for 3 days they sent me back because I was very 'tender' as he put it. I have been much better since I came home so hopefully I can stay here with my Mother and my human Mummy. I promise to try very hard to be a very good dog just like my Mother Milli.
