Unfortunatly due to a change in jobs my husband and I are moving and are unable to take Dakota with us. He is a wonderful dog, very loving and affectionate, he gets along well with other animals and will love you unconditionally. Do to the fact that we have been in the process of moving for the past 2 months Dakota has had to be kept outside in his dog lot. He may need to have a little training session on how to behave indoors (he may be hyper and excited) if you choose to have him as a inside pet. He is very smart and learns quickly, I don't think that he will have a problem adjusting to coming back indoors.(He knows the potty is outside) He LOVES to run, so if you do decide to adopt Dakota and keep him indoors he will need LOTS of exercise. He is VERY fast so you will have to keep you're eyes on him. He will probably be full of LOTS and LOTS of energy for the first couple of weeks, due to the fact that he will be meeting his new family and he will be out of his normal surroundings (his dog lot) and he will want to play and run. If you choose to keep him outdoors I will NOT adopt him to a family who will chain him. He must be kept in a dog lot of the appropriate size, or if you have the land (farm or ranch, etc) he can run free. My name is Dakota and I am looking for a new home. My family has to move away to a smaller place and they can't take me with them. I will miss them very much but I know that they will find me a good home with good people who will give me all the love and attention I need. I am very smart and loving and I promise I'll always be a good boy. I love to run and play, and I would really love to find a new family with other doggie friends that I can play with. If you would like to adopt me just talk to my owner and she will give you all the information that you need. WOOF!

If you notice in my first picture, my buddy Max and I are taking a nap together. Since I'm so big now I gave Max my old green pillow to sleep on. You can see in my last two pictures that I used to be able to fit on that pillow too, but now I'm too big. I still have a lot of growing to do, so I'll take the sofa from now on and Max can enjoy his new pillow.
