Arrival Story:
When we decided to get a dog, I persuaded my husband to go for a beagle since I had grown up with the breed and always loved their sweet personalities. We chose a local North Carolina breeder who put the pups' photos online before they were old enough to be adopted. Just looking at the pictures we thought Rocky (which was the name the breeder originally gave him) looked like the sweetest one. Once we went to visit the pups, we knew Rocky was the one for us because as soon as my husband picked him up he started licking his face... all the other pups were too interested in playing with each other. I like to think Rocky chose us:o)

Bio:
Rocky was recently hit by a car and is now recovering very well. We are so thankful that our buddy is okay!!!!
