Arrival Story:
I was told by a shelter assistant that there was a little Malti girl who had passed her 5 days hold and the clock was ticking. They didn't want to put her down because she was so sweet and had just stolen hearts. I made arrangments for a fellow rescue volunteer to foster her and all was set for ZinZin to be saved. At the last minute as I was taking Zach to his new home. I got a call that plans for ZinZin's foster home fell through. I desided since Zach was leaving a space at our house we would just fill it with ZinZin. I named her Luci because she it just fit her. No coat. They shelter shaved her down because of the severe matted condition she wqas in. It's been in the 30's here for a few days so she must keep her swearer on. BUT that's OK because it will grow back and iot's going to be beautiful. Sweet little girl that deserved to be rescued. I will find her a loving home with people who will never let her become homeless again.

Bio:
2.5 yrs old and pure bred. Would you think she would be just in such danger of being killed in a gas chamber? If only I knew how to make people understand that dogs and cats have feelings. They love deeply. When you give them away or leave them at animal control it hurts them. They become insecure. They are confused. They hurt. Luci is hurting but we will love her and make sure she is safe.

Luci has a home.

Today Luci left to beging her new life. Her mommy was so excited and drove from another city about 75 miles away to pick her up. Luci was so sweet with her. She acted like she knew her. It sure made it easier for me to say good bye to her. Good luck Luci. Have a wonderful life. It was a pleasuer to be your mom for a while.

I met my new mommy Sunday. She smells so good and she cuddles so good. I really like er. She said she is going to take me for walks every day and we are going to be so happy together. She lives by herself and I am going to be here whole focus, her whole life. I am so lucky. I am so happy. I will think my foster parents before I go. Kisses for all and then they will be happy for me. I;m going to be the real Princess of my new home. I just have ne more day to go. Then I leave for my home. Life is good!

Dear Diary,
It's almost a new year. I don't know why humans make such a big deal of this but they do. Someone is popping fireworks by my house. My friend Roase, Baron and Buddy are upset at that. They bark out but the fireworks don't stop. They keep barking anyway. They sure are loud.... the fireworks that is. :) So what does it mean a new year? Does it mean I get a furever home now? I don't know. I hope so.
