Arrival Story:
I was rescued by Second Chances Dalmatian Rescue with my Mom and 9 siblings. We were tied to a lamp post in the shelter parking lot and left overnight. My Mom is a purebred Dalmatian but we do not know what my Dad is so they have no way to telling what we are mixed with or how big me and my brothers and sisters will get. I have 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Mama says that the shape of my head reminds her of the RCA dog, which was a mix of Bull Terrier and Fox Terrier. I guess we'll never know!

I'm gaining!

Hee hee...

Mama took me to the vet again on Friday. I have my vet lady so wrapped around my dew claw that she offered to WATCH ME if Mama ever needed to go out of town. *rolls on the floor giggling* I love my vet lady. Well, I love everybody, but I love my vet lady :)

But I got shots again! Sheesh...when will these things end? And I got microchipped, which was a BIG ow-ie, but Mama distracted me with treats while they did it and I was a very good girl. Now that I'm all done with that stuff, I can take puppy classes!

Oh, and I weighed in at 15 pounds even, so I've gained 8 pounds since coming home. And I'm all legs! Which is good because that makes it much easier for me to jump the puppy gate! (shhhh...don't tell Mama that I can do that)

I met my primary vet today! She was a really nice lady. I guess I went in for my second round of puppy shots, but I didn't really notice because I was too busy eating treats! Mama says I have to go for one more round of shots then I can go to puppy classes!

I was 7 pounds on December 17th, now I'm 11.4 pounds and STRETCHING! I came home in a cute holiday sweater, which I outgrew in a week. Then I started wearing a Doxie sweater, and I've out stretched that, too! Mama found a little shirt that I can wear that matches my polka-dotted collar perfectly! That way I can kind of stay warm in this cold winter weather! Brrrrrr!

I get to go to work with Mama, too! So I'm always by her side! :)

Let me tell you a little bit about me!

I was part of a litter of 10 pups. Me and my siblings and Mama were taken to the rescue parking lot and tied to a lamp post...left to wait for someone to take us in when we were no longer wanted. At the time, us pups were about 4 weeks old.

We were given lots of love and a foster home where we were well taken care of and prepared for adoption to furever homes when we were ready. I came to my home on Christmas Eve, 2010 at the age of 11 weeks. I met Tipper and Maxx, and immediately knew I was in the right place!

I'm a Dal mix. Mama thinks I am part Terrier because of my ears, my eyes, and my very petite paws. My vet says that she thinks I'm part Terrier, too, because my face shape is rounder. Either way, Mama says I'm adorable! My coloring is all Dal, except for my solid colored ears (well, they aren't completely solid black, but a nice mix of black with a wee bit of white, which makes the look like a soft grey).

So, that's what there is to know about me!
