Mom has been furry busy landscaping this Spring. They have a big slope/ditch in the backyard that protects the house from all the runoff from the big hill. Mom wanted to plant lots of groundcover on the bank. She decided to go with Blue Rug Junipers. The peeps went and got 13 and started the project. It was lots of work. Mom decided to name each Juniper for a RB angel up here with me. She also planted ME...a beautiful Crabapple tree. The 13 Junipers are in their new homes and are growing beautifully. They even have berries so far. Their names are: Rusty, Cookie, Mulligan, Sheba, Jarvis, Louie, Ernie, Abby, Cheyenne, Moses, Kenny, Tim and Hannah. Carmella the Lilac bush was planted just to the left of the Junipers. Then there are stone steps and a nice bridge that allows Sunny to go over the ditch (not that she can't jump it) and into the woods. To the right of the bridge, mom planted Sydney (my sis), a neon flash Spirea, then ME (crabapple tree), then Daisy (another Spirea) and then Pongo (another Crabapple). Just last night, the peeps planted Elvis, a dwarf Maple tree. Spike and Sam (baby Spruce trees) are still in their pots and waiting to go in the ground. Mom is planning on naming the next "female" plants Cleo and Kiska. We think they will probably be beautiful Salvia plants. There are 2 human memorials there too. Moms co-worker Jack, who just died a year ago, is a lovely Day Lily and Barbara the Maple tree was named for one of moms patients who died on the day the Barbara was planted.

Cookie and I and the rest of the angels really enjoy having our spirits in those plants. Mom talks to them and waters them daily. They are getting a lot of love. Mom is off to upload some pictures on my page now so you can see how beautiful we are.

Love,
Stryker

Thanks Z-pup! Mom has been busy posting pictures and tagging their pawrents on Facebook. Your mom has been hiding from the book of faces but she can probably still go on my moms page and see all the pics if she wants. Have a great day my little man.

This is so beautiful !.

When we moved here a year ago I started on Cleo's Garden... like you... the work is ongoing... but also like you, it starts to bring a sense of peace and closure. Its also the place yearly we have the Candle Lighting in July that Wyomings Mum begins.

I also have a Redbud Tree called Margo.... planted for my dearest Dogster friend Margo(Mum of Geena the Golden)who died a year ago this July

Its profetic you are going to make your Cleo plant a Salvia. I have planted as part of Cleo's garden a beautiful blue Salvia... that this year is just finding its roots.

Your garden ... and your hopes and dreams are a treasure and a gift to many.

Whatever our beliefs.. or lack of them... the silken cord that binds us is the love of our beloved Furs and Friends.

Thankyou my friend........Thankyou.
