Mother's Day Rosette :)

Mom was a little confused as to why me and Stryker had lots of Jewish cups on our pages this morning. We did some investigating and think that Zaidie explained it the best so this is stolen from Zaidie's diary. It totally cracked us up:

"Well, wookit dat! Dogster HQ 'cided it wood be nice fur us pupses tu send pwetty ceramic cups, decowated wif da Star ob David, so we can can toast all da Mommas an' say,"L'Chaim! Dat r Hebrew an' it r meenin', "Tu Life!" Dat r whut yu say when yu hab sumfing wunnerful tu cewebwate! An' we du!"

So..... L'Chaim to all those pawsome doggie moms out there!!!!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Catching up with my pals...

So...after much telepathic communication, I finally convinced mom to spend less time on the human dogster (Facebook) and a little more time on my page. I mean; I know that most of my pals humans are on Facebook and that' fine for mom but what about me? How did I not know that my beautiful twin, Chloe, had moved to the Rainbow Bridge? She was 16 years old and had the best life!! I remember when I was just a baby, her mom Janice said I looked just like her. I was so honored. Chloe sent her mom a new furbaby named Cinnamon. what a cutie pie!! She sure hit the doggy lottery!! I have a new pal now named Meeko. He is sooo cute!!

Most of you know I have a new puppy furriend. His name is Drew. I love him a lot! I get so happy when he comes over to play. I playbow to him and I lick his chin. I think he is my baby. He goes to daycare in the day so he gets to play with lots of other puppies and dogs. I wish they had that when I was just a young hedgehog! Now I am 5 and kinda set in my ways so mom doesn't think I would like daycare. I am happy to stay home with my cats during the day.

what else, what else? Mommy took a 2nd job so she is gone a little more. That makes me sad but...my other peep takes me for extra long walks on those nights and we have lots of fun!!

My boyfriend Bear got his fur cut so that he looks like a lion. You should google "lion cut chow dog" He's not full chow but he looks pretty much like that and he is soooo cute like that! He can be a little bold and bossy in the neighborhood and one of my neighbors commented yesterday "you don't look so tough now Bear". BOL!!

Well...I guess that's it for now. I just wanted to pop in and say Hi. And thank you to all of my pals who gave puppy Drew a big welcome to dogster. I have the best friends and y'all made me very proud :)

5 years ago today...I got gotted!

5 years ago today, I was on a truck enroute from Alabama to PA. It was a long ride and I hated it! For a long time after that, I drooled and pukied everytime I rode in a car but I got over that. Anyhowl, eventually I made it to PA and got to play in a pen with all my brofurs and another litter of puppies. Then, my mom came and picked me up and took me home. It was love at first sight! I have since succeeded in making my mom the craziest dog mom evfur. She is completely in love with me. It has been a great 5 years!!!!!

I'm 5!!!!!!

Thank you so much to my pup pals who sent me prezzies on my page!! Lou Lou...that cake looks PAWSOME!! Austin and Doo sent me texas sized hugs...I love those! Thanks Pepper for my heart. That's a good gift because my mom loves me with ALL of her heart :)

It has been a fun day so far. I got a lot of kisses...I got a dent a chew...I got a new lake toy that I've been chewing on (BOL!) and the best part is my mom called off sick today so I get to spend my birthday with her!! She really is sick so I will be a good nurse today.

The animal shelter mom was helping with the contest won 10,000! They only won by 44 votes so thank you sooooo much to everyone who voted! Every vote counted!! I am so happy for the doggies and kitties who will get some extra goodies there at the shelter.

Chase Community Bank is having a contest where they give out bones (mom calls them grants) to the charities that get the most votes. The contest is on Facebook. If any of your peeps are on the human dogster, could they click on the link below and vote. The shelter is called "The Humane Society of Lackawanna County"
